The total value of exported goods from North Macedonia in the period January-November 2023 amounted to €7.7bn, a 0.2% in crease compared to the same period last year. The value of imported goods in the same period amounted to €10.2bn, or 8.3 % less than the same period last year.
The total trade deficit was €2.5bn.
The most significant exported products for 2023:
• supported catalysts with precious metal or precious metal compounds as the active substance,
• ferro-nickel, iron and steel products (flat-rolled products),
• clothes, and petroleum oil preparations.
Main exports partners: Germany, Serbia, Kosovo, Bulgaria and Greece.
The most significant imported products in 2023:
• crude oil,
• platinum and platinum alloys,
• motor vehicles, and electricity.
Main imports partners: UK, Germany, Greece, China, and Serbia.
