US company Cap-Con will invest $18 million and create  400 new jobs

            Today in Skopje Macedonian government officials signed an agreement with the CEO of  US company CAP-CON automotive technologies ltd.

            Cap Con chose Skopje for its own business and production for markets in Europe. This production capacity once it becomes fully operational will employ about 400 people. Also, we intend to expand our activities here and open a technical center will also have engineering support in this capacity, said after the signing of Aliena Hatch, CEO of the company.

            Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski said that this reputable company from the automotive industry will produce for inflating airbags designed for the European market.

This Investment fits into the government's efforts to attract global, reputable companies to make significant changes in the Economy and they happen. In areas open 11,000 jobs, and the next period is expected that 13,000 jobs, said Stavreski.

He added that the company today entered Macedonia on the map of the production centers, the investment will be realized in the area in Skopje, and the facility is expected to be operational in the second quarter of 2015.

The cumulative export from the factories in the zones with the end of November amounted billion and sixty-two million, is a major contribution to the growth of exports. Exports from the zones is in rapid growth and Macedonia it will achieve good results at a time when the economy in Europe is not so good, said Stavreski.
